I heard on KPR the other day that KCMO has more homicides per capita than Chicago. It was surprising to hear, and it also made me smile to think that KPR was willing to throw KC under the bus to take the heat off Obama's city. My apologies for the OT post.

I'll be honest, not the response I expected. 

I just posted on his wall asking for his assessment on the performance of Obama as president.  Should be a good response!

Clinton was a pragmatist, Obama is an idealist. This is what separates "leaders" from, well... what we have now. Pragmatist-ism means getting done what you can within the parameters that are defined within the barriers you are presented with. Obama is an Idealist, meaning that he wants only what he wants and he is unwilling to negotiate. Does anyone honestly think that Bill Clinton would have signed a welfare to work bill had it not been an election year? That was 1996. The current president rules on executive fiat, meaning that he has the secretaries under him change the rules previously passed (like Clinton's "Welfare Reform Act"), and consider them to be arbitrary. You can get food stamps now easier than you could have 6 years ago... why? Because of Obama. His EPA changes the gas that we expel from breathing to be "harmful", so any living citizen is immediately emitting a harmful gas. ...and most recently, they put new restrictions on coal burning power plants, like the one our mutual friend works at. ...all without Congressional approval, but simply by executive order. When Obama said in 2008 that he wanted to "fundamentally change this country", he wasn't kidding. What is funny is that now that "global warming" has now been proven to be false, Obama's EPA still wants to go forward with their bullshit plans. Why? Because so many investors have given to Obama and the Democraps, that they WANT us to have inefficient wind and solar bullshit! Just to satisfy their donors! I mean, we've already lost too many tax dollars on "Solyndra" (only a half billion, and the primary investor was a major Obama contributor), and other projects who have failed but were given government loans. WTF.   I told Sean many times that his "union" contributions would be a factor in ultimately eliminating his job. Sad, blue collar ppl have $ taken out of their paychecks to support politicians who want to eliminate their jobs. Only in America!

He setup a donation page for ppl to donate to get him there while he sits at home at his folks jobless. He's now decided to take that $ and move to Chicago where he already failed. I would think that most those places that send someone to teach English pay for the people to go.  Was he just going to head down there on his own, rent a space, and teach those kids to conjugate their asses off?  I agree, would have to be pretty stupid to donate to that plan.
