When you're a marine you only hang around other marines and thus can efficiently use their awkward vocab. They call all sorts of normal things weird names.

I heard on KPR the other day that KCMO has more homicides per capita than Chicago. It was surprising to hear, and it also made me smile to think that KPR was willing to throw KC under the bus to take the heat off Obama's city. My apologies for the OT post.

Just so you know, the conservative talk radio in KC has been pointing out the murder per capita issue for months now. Who are they helping?
