LT: Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying we should burn down college football. It still has a ton of positives, and God knows I dig the upgrades we've done to our stadium.
However, the money has corrupted college football. It's no longer the "amateur" status the NCAA likes to believe it has. I mean Christ, the BCS is exhibit A. And it's going to get worse before it gets better.

LT: Far less corruption in NFL. It doesn't try to hide it's professional status, because... well, it is professional. Players get paid, there's no recruiting violations to violate, no academic standards to uphold (and ultimately fudge like they do in college), the list goes on and on.

LT: Plus, the NFL tries to make a profit. It's a business. Thus, there's no reason to hide that fact like college football does.
I mean, you're entitled to your opinion Heathster, it's just that if you want to make a statement, back it up with more than "...See More

Heath Fanning Sigh... I'm arguing that I enjoy College Football way more than the NFL because of all the reasons you just listed. They bust their asses and care far more than the professional. If the University wants to spend a butt load of $ to suprt their product, then who cares? I don't know why you don't like nice things.

Heath Fanning Yeah. I mean I don't let my political views automatically decide where I'm at on a matter. I like to think it through. Sucks that $ plays such a big role, but it's awesome when a small school like K-State still defeats the odds. This is where we are headed. Sweet renovations, Oregon.

Stop hanging on to a misplaced term "big brother". He hates big corporations cause they make money, he doesn't, and he can't keep a job at Chipotle. He thinks all Conservatives represent big business. So if you have a lot of money like Nike, he hate you.

Do you know what big brother is heath?
Yes. Do you? I read 1984. My point is he hates corporate and anything with money. He's so rough ridin' out there that he's leaving to LA to be an actor with no plan after getting a degree. Once he's unsuccessful like he was before, he'll be asking for hand outs like he has before, smartass.

I'll bet he's unsuccessful too. Very few acting jobs in Louisiana.

Love the people that bitch about how much the vacations cost. The president is the most powerful person in the world and ridiculously underpaid, he better get some good perks to go along with that 400k he makes a year.

Especially when they think he's just spending millions of dollars to go shopping, and not to fly security vehicles/personnel etc overseas

eff that, he should fly coach and rent a compact just like the rest of us

My favorite part is that anyone complaining about the $$$ spent for Obama's vacations had no problem whatsoever with previous presidents doing the exact same thing

Barry and his family have done it a little more I believe. I actually think they should drive around in compacts. The President is no better than me or you. It's bull crap.

I have no problem with presidents taking a little PTO, but the Obama vacations have been much more lavish than recent presidents at a time when a little discretion would have been better received. If we had even 3% GDP growth and 6% unemployment, nobody would really care.

Hey, if you don't let the presidents have lavish vacations then who are you going to get to want to be president?  Isn't this how trickle-down works?

From Facebook:

Quote
Yes, I'm sorry that our new mayor Larry Wolgast is not the hardline far-right Obama hating Tea Party Fox News eff-you white supremacist wifebeater-and-a-shotgun extremist that you want him to be.

Larry Wolgast knows where babies come from and people who know where babies come from tend to be more successful financially and otherwise than people who don't.

I'm sure that in the not-too-terribly-distant future, Topeka will have a new mayor and I'm sure that he will change the town's name from "Topeka, Kansas" to "Auschwitz, Germany" and he will round up every Jew in Topeka and every single person in my family and throw all of us into a big oven or a big gas chamber or line us all up in front of a firing squad, just like I know you want him to.

BUT, as Hugh Jackman says in The Wolverine, "That day ain't here yet."

Did you ever stop and think that maybe the President of the United States can't fly coach because it would be a huge security risk?  Are you legally Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)?
