LT: Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying we should burn down college football. It still has a ton of positives, and God knows I dig the upgrades we've done to our stadium.
However, the money has corrupted college football. It's no longer the "amateur" status the NCAA likes to believe it has. I mean Christ, the BCS is exhibit A. And it's going to get worse before it gets better.

LT: Far less corruption in NFL. It doesn't try to hide it's professional status, because... well, it is professional. Players get paid, there's no recruiting violations to violate, no academic standards to uphold (and ultimately fudge like they do in college), the list goes on and on.

I have no problem with presidents taking a little PTO, but the Obama vacations have been much more lavish than recent presidents at a time when a little discretion would have been better received. If we had even 3% GDP growth and 6% unemployment, nobody would really care.
