The crazy thing? The Supreme Court's decision to declare DOMA unconstitutional DOESN'T effect me. I'm not gay. This has no effect on me at all. However, I have gay friends, and this effects them GREATLY. My happiness is for THEM. Not me. It's awesome that the Supreme Court has decided to see my friends as not "gay" but rather as human beings that get the same rights I do. Another medieval grip on our society has been loosened. Although there is still much work to do, it is obvious that the dominoes are falling into place. Each day it is more and more unacceptable to hold the same world-views that championed segregation, religious dogma, sexism and corporate greed. There IS hope for an optimistic future.

Last night I watched Texas Senator Wendy Davis inspire the People's Filibuster against the oppression of women in the Texas Legislature and this morning I'm watching the SCOTUS actually go to bat for my gay friends and hit it out of the park. America, you're looking good today.
Pretty cool to hear what happened in the Texas legislature tonight. Voices of equality and individual freedom are being heard in TEXAS. TEXAS. I repeat... TEXAS. Way to go Sen. Wendy Davis. I can't wait for the 2014 elections. Look out Tea Party... the feeding tube is about to be pulled out. The plug in the wall is next. Good riddance.

Weird thing happened today. I walked outside, looked up, and the sky isn't falling even though marriage equality got a big boost today. I don't know about you all, but I'm starting to think the people in the Westboro Baptist Church camp are full of crap.

Water is more expensive so you end up buying soda kuz its cheaper and tastes better. The more soda you drink, the more health problems develop which then leads to the government making more money off of you for all the hospital and dentist bills
The reason is our world is 75% water. Of that 75%, only 3% is freshwater and 1% of that is actually non polluted enough to drink. That means .0002% of the earth has drinkable water. Water is a natural resource so it will constantly go up in prices
imagine for a second that the government might not have your best interest at heart, seems wild, seems scary,seems false, but now ask yourself "how do you make more money?" see water is more expensive, ironically i might add. it surrounds us and is basically free right? yes. the thing is the cheaper product seems more obtainable people over consume you're now obese, you now need to get medical treatment. now what runs hospitals? corporations. what runs government? corporations. yeah, maybe i am some nut job,but how do you profit off a healthy person? more money in dying than life, then again our government deserves our trust because they have never let us down or spied on us and surely they wouldn't let money get in the way. oh wait.
People buy pop more so the companies can lower the price while companies that sell water raise the price to compensate for the people that don't buy it
