Kind of political but kind of not.

If you're not already following I recommend following @realDonaldTrump and @DannyZuker.  They've been having a twitter war for about a week now and it started up again today.  Zuker is a Democrat and writer for Modern Family with about 200k followers. Trump has 2.2M.  Whatever your party affiliation, Zuker has been absolutely destroying Trump.

Jesus, he could've at least put some clipart in that Word document on his truck.  I'm sure Word 2010 has some eagles in there.

i'm with you.  i've been saying it for years:  if there's one thing about washington i hate, it's the specificity of laws.  what our legal code needs is vagueness.

Notably, commenter Robb agreed enthusiastically and had this to add:
Quote
Here are a couple things I would add:

"Step #1: fire every last politician, even the ones you like, and start over. If even one is left it will metastasize like a malignant cancer and destroy the new government."

"Step #2: Anybody who is on 1 penny of public assistance is declared a ward of the state. As a ward of the state they are treated as a minor child. This means they can not buy booze, cigarettes, tattoos, or anything else only an adult can buy. This means they are also not old enough to vote. You have to be an adult to vote, and as a ward of the state, you are a child. This will make it harder to buy their vote. Their voting rights would be restored only after 1 year of being self-sufficient, when they are declared to be an adult again. This way we can have a safety net for people who need it, but when half the population recieves handouts they won't be able to vote themselves a raise. When the adults determine they need a raise, we will see to it they get one. Don't hold your breath waiting for one though. Best bet is to get off their asses and get a job, even if it's a shitty one."

You can bet that once free smokes, tobacco, phones, and beer dry up, most of these people will get off their asses and get a job. That might mean they have to apply for one, or create one, but they will use their brains to get by one way or another. The way the system is now it is way to easy to leach off the system. This would require a Constitutional coup, since there is no other way to restore the Republic as far as I can see, but it would be better to do it sooner rather than later.

that's not the thought behind it, but i guess i should've expected a typical california-hollyweird response from the likes of you.

I've seen a couple shares from that FB page the last couple months. It's called Uncle Sam's Misguided Children and it could probably use it's own thread.
