I have wrecked so much expensive crap. My best cheap crap (relative) was driving a combine down the road (in road gear of course) and the header just completely smashing a mailbox. I didn't swerve or let off the gas or anything, just plowed right through it. We had to go to the hardware store and buy them a new one.

also no way bloomberg has one of those weird 4WD Cases that don't articulate in the middle

this probably already lives in the sd cow farm thread but one time I was doing like 18 mph (this is like 120 mph in a car) in a Cat Challenger pulling a completely full gigantic grain cart and crested a terrace and the cart went up and over with such force it broke the tongue off the hitch and buried the remaining tongue portion down through at least 10 feet of ground. It had an absolutely massive amount of weight and inertia behind it. pretty rough ridin' sick. we had to get like two backhoes and dig down, chain to the tongue, then weld the tongue back together, etc. about a days work of 5 or 6 hicks during harvest. you have to admit, badasses would do it.

I had a couple full wagon, broken tongue stories, but none of them come close to this.   Congrats SD.

I still would like to post my plugged silage blower pipe story though.

A classmate of mine rolled a tractor driving top speed on a dirt/sand road.  He was only 12 and broke his neck.  His younger brother was riding on the drawbar and did not get hurt, since he was able to jump off in the grass ditch.  He told me that his brother was feeling fine and talking while they waited for help.  When they got there, they tried to carry him to the back of a station wagon.  As soon as they picked him up his head moved and he died from aspiration.  Him and I were born on the same day only he was little over an hour older than me.

54 / 23 intersection is the stop light in Meade. Pretty big deal. FOUR LANES through town (54 only, 23 is a comfortable fat 2).
