Having studied the Common Core standards extensively, I am a fan of the rigor and depth of most of them. In case you haven't noticed, technology is changing the world. Different skills seats and a knowledge base for the work place are required for successful life work. Do I think the standards are perfect? Not by a long shot, but they are addressing thinking skills and application of concepts to practice that weren't requirements of previous curricular standards.
