I will say, I think theirs a lot of republicans who are ok with abortion (but would never say it out loud), but use it as a crutch. I'm in the middle on it.

the reason anybody is against abortion is the same reason anybody is against gay marriage, and it's very simple. it grosses them out.

I have a family member who's married, but had two abortions when he got pregnant with his wife because they didn't want it.

I think they are mostly against killing humans. "It grosses them out" starts to have merit when you find people against the selling of fetal tissue, but most people against the abortion itself are against it on moral grounds.

How is it not? I mean, get on some berth control or something. You're married, it's not like it's a stranger or someone you just started dating.

Birth control isn't 100 percent effective. Maybe they should just abstain from boning

Well, I think about it as if it was a new born, which would have the better situation? What's the point of abortion then? I usually think of it as a last resort, to a bad situation.

A simplistic thought process here. I guess that's why we're all different.

A kid being born to a married couple who don't want it or can't handle it is a bad situation.

Well, I guess they're just careless ppl then. Especially since, the person who married her, married into a kid who wasn't aborted when the she was 17. It just seems like there's some confusion there.

Getting killed in the womb is a pretty bad situation, too.

I'm not judging fwiw. It's a close family member who's idolized in the family and I just find it interesting, because our family is crazy, right wing extremist. I guess if they only knew.

Breaking down the quality of the phone that these beggars are handed is pretty hilarious to me tho.
I know plenty of people that benefit from having a phone and getting back on their feet. I also know plenty of people who abuse the system. Just making a point, from my perspective, about what I think when I see "cell phone." I think of my phone, iphone, etc. When in reality it's one of those 5 dollar pay as you go style phones you see at the check out areas at Dillons. Thar cost less than a home phone these days. I think that's a distinction that needs to be made.

Along those same lines, when people complain about seeing someone with an iPhone using foodstamps or whatever. Realize that that phone is their trip to away football games, skiing in breckenridge, going to Vegas. That's the pinnacle of their entertainment.
