i'll rephrase. the people that are posting all these things or just sharing them on their fbook pages and whatever...are they posting because they agree and stuff or just solely to try to get a rise out of other people or both?

The people who actually create that stuff are trying to get a rise out of other people. The vast majority of people who repost it up on facebook do so because they agree and want to share it with their friends, who they naturally assume are all likeminded.
