I walked into the women's restroom at an Omaha Tanners (relatively sober) twice on different dates. There is something about its placement or signage that throws me off every time.

This happened to me in elementary school. I didn't realize I had been in the girl's restroom until I was leaving and met a group of giggling junior high cheerleaders who were on their way in.

And then I was murdered by one of their fathers.

I had a dream that this happened last night! I was lost in a building and for some reason the door to the women's restroom/locker room was unmarked. I went in slowly/cautiously and heard my grandma's voice and turned around before I was noticed, and in my dream I thought about sharing the experience on goEMAW.

Somehow losing my wallet and missing a flight was also involved, as was Clint Eastwood getting ready for a picnic and people being upset with the band Alabama for ending their show to early.

One time I used the wrong bathroom at a gay bar. The stalls were only like little partitions and I think there were even urinals, but in my drunken state it was the only restroom I had seen so I just thought the gay bar patrons were really open. Some gay guy saw me and I just did a  :dunno: Then as I left I saw the women's restroom.

i really had no idea it was against the law to use the wrong gendered bathroom.  i thought they were just societal conventions that people generally followed along with because it was easier than fighting them, like entrance/exit doors at grocery stores.
