Frank was 4-1 in Ames, fwiw.

Got worked by the Mayor last year, in fact, going down the stretch in Ames last year was textbook how to choke away a game.

Dax is so excited to argue that he's taking an edn post and using it for more anti-Frank rhetoric. Sad and hilarious.

I don't blame dax for his anti-frankness, I blame frank (and so does dax).

No denied . . . there's nothing as sad as a bunch of Frankites coming on here to bitch and talk about how Weber is taking all the toughness out of the team, and how fantastic Frank was closing out games . . . and right there in archives is a shining example of a crap job of closing out a game at ISU last year, and then the living definition of not being tough, and having some of the worst defensive floor recognition in the history of basketball against ISU in Manhattan last year.

I guess its because the end of that ISU game last year was more of an outlier in franks 80+ games as coach, whereas today's game is 1/6th of the games in Weber's tenure.

Today's game didn't affect my opinion on oscar, and it shouldn't have affected anyone else's. oscar made some decisions that are fun to laugh at (sitting Angel with 45 seconds left, for example), but they probably didn't cost us the game.

Yes that was very weird. He sat Angel defensively when he had been sitting Will in that same spot since conference play started, I was like wtf

He must have REALLY wanted no one to foul

They've won 18 straight at home . . . K-State choked the game away last year in Ames as well, and then let ISU come into Bramlage and beat them again.    Frank had his good times in Ames against McNeck and had Curtis Kelly, Denny Clemente, and Jake Pullen gettin off the bus.

Frankites are attempting to revise history as they always do.

Who are you talking about, quote a post or name a name? Otherwise you sound like an angry old lonely drunk inventing boogie men to have faux arguments with.

He actually had a good point about this on the post game show. He asked if the shot clock froze too because ISU ran the shot clock all the way down. He didnt get an answer.

I'm still waiting to see the quote where someone compared Frank's end game situations to oscar's. I have no interest in posting the box scores from all of the close games that the man won. His overall record is indicative that he won a whole hell of a lot more close games than he lost. This is the dumbest rant ive seen on here in some time, your drunk ass needs to find some friends and happiness.

I guess you missed the idiotic comment about Frank's ability to close out games, and games like today were an  "outlier", yet I am in the process of blowing that idiotic comment out of the water.    Games like today happened regularly during the Frank Martin tenure.

Games like today happened regularly during the Frank Martin tenure.

Well if we have the wins over top 10 teams that happened regularly too I'll be ok with trade off.

Wait. Are you denying that Frank won many many more close games than he lost? You really aren't saying that, I know you aren't saying tthat.

I guess you missed the idiotic comment about Frank's ability to close out games, and games like today were an  "outlier", yet I am in the process of blowing that idiotic comment out of the water.    Games like today happened regularly during the Frank Martin tenure.

They've won 18 straight at home, they're 14-5, they were a Big 12 Ref No Call/Fluke shot away from beating ku in Lawrence.

K-State losses (the same type of game Frankites witnessed K-State losing regularly under Frank) and it's #burnitdown . . . what a bunch of pussies.

I am not denying that at all MIR, what I am refuting is this idiocy that Frank was some kind of master at closing out games, he lost numerous games very similar to today's game.

No one called Frank a "master at closing out games," he was good at it though. No one but edn criticized oscar either. Your rant was weird.

It doesn't take much to figure out the general tenor of goEMAW MIR . . . Frankites are pretty transparent.
