WSU is the perfect storm for mid major butthurt. They are in state with two major schools, that don't play them, We play the occasional high profile "neutral" site game there, and they are having a good run allowing their fans to think they are equals. WATCHUS is just perfect for them.

Funny seeing how they are probably better than KU though

I will give WSU no grief as a program even though I don't care for them. It would be silly not to respect a Final 4 program.

This #watchus thing just seemed weird, and MIR is correct, I looked and found that it started across all athletics at WSU in August 2012. It is a move to be more social media friendly at events, which is cool thing.

i watched a wsu game the other night (well, it was on but i didn't really watch) and while not quite pissclams-BYU-headlights-in-the-window bright, it kinda hurt my eyes

Are they playing a couple of games at Intrust? Is that building finally becoming the cash cow that Wichita always dreamed of? I know they love the Roundhouse too much to move there. Actually the Roundhouse is pretty cool and way better than Bramlage for atmosphere.

They've been playing there since it opened. And IBA has been a profit machine from day one. Sedgwick County profited over a million in cash the first year the building was open.

that centercourt is great.  just need to only paint the lane instead of the whole court, and it would be pretty good.

Can move to a separate thread if necessary.

John Mayer plays a mix of pop, rock and blues. His concert was crucial to the arena because it was a “baby step” to getting bigger pop acts, Boleski said.

“If you want Justin Timberlake, you’re going to have to start somewhere,” he said. “It’s about supporting a John Mayer.”
