When it became vogue to put all that paint on courts in the late 90's early 2000's there were a lot of high school and small colleges that did crap like that.

Blue Chips was shot at UCLAs Pauley Pavilion, and yeah, aside from the floor paint, it's set up a lot like that, even after their renovation

Was gonna say it reminded me of Blue Chips too! Color scheme, arena, school name (Fort Valley State Wildcats lmao gimme a break ) all just look slightly...generic. Idk.

But no Blue Chips wasn't shot at Pauley Pavilion, at least not according to this. It didn't seem right to me and then I remembered their home arena was shot at this weird high school in Indiana that has a super sweet-for-a-hike-school arena.

is the movie any good?  i never seen it (or maybe 25 years ago) but it looks alright from all the locations.  tho i guess that's not a good way to judge movie quality. locations.

It's amazing. Cheesy a.f. but it really draws you in. It's got Shaq and Penny playing very prominent roles. I watched it in the theater in Hutch the night before we whipped newton's asses at substate basketball. It's on my list of movies that I'll immediately stop on and watch all the way through of I know it's on.
