I'm going to Chicago next week for work. Debating whether I need to buy a coat. Highs in the mid 40s. But I'll bet that wind coming off the lake is going to be chilly.

you will definitely need a coat. it's not like NYC where you can subway to within a block of anywhere in the city.

Definitely need to buy a coat. Broke out the leather coat I bought in 1996 for a trip to New York to see how it looked.
