If it's not KC, give us Salt Lake. And a CBS camera crew.

Still think we have a good shot at a 3 seed.

Im not sure how Virginia is in the field right now.   They have a rpi of 68 and a SOS of 144.
Their non con SOS was 307.  And they have 6 losses to teams with a rpi of 130 or higher
Only thing they have going for them is they have won 8 of last 11 in ACC games

So 15-3 guarantees a 3 seed. Add Big 12 tourney title and that equals a 2.  And a loss to Baylor or OSU plus a Phillips loss means a 4? Are we all agreed those are the scenarios?

I think if we went 14-4 and lost in the P66 title game.... a 3 seed is definately still possible.   It will depend on what other teams (specificly current 3/4 seeds) do

A 3 would be huge.  Fun to think about.  Just wish we had beaten KU that first time like Fan has harped on.  We'd really be in great shape.

The committee is clueless half the time, I wouldn't be surprised with anything from a 2 to 5 seed

If we beat Baylor there is a realistic chance for us to be projected as one of the top two 3 seeds at the beginning of next week

Louisville (@Syracuse)
Arizona (@USC, @UCLA)

No doubt, a win over Baylor should move us up to 3. But can we stay there if we take 2 more losses @OSU and somewhere in the 66?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Losing in the conference final normally doesn't hurt you. If we lost to a team like OSU in the semis I don't think we would drop much from where we were projected before it happened.

We're getting to the point where besides looking at us, there are another 10-12 teams we can probably really follow. Primarily what we do matters (finishing at least 2-1 reg season) but what the others do is significant.

Teams to watch:
Michigan
New Mexico
Georgetown
Louisville
Arizona
Marquette
Syracuse
Okla State
Memphis
UNLV
Wisconsin
Ohio State.
