If I were the one making the decisions, I'd just go ahead have us win out and win the confy tourney too and snag one of them 2 seeds.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I would just give us a 1 seed no matter what happens and then put all of the midmajors who make the tournament in our bracket so we don't have to beat anybody good to make it to the final four.

I would like to change my answer to this.

Lol at midmajors being desirable draws in the tornament

Mich St plays at Mich on Sunday, and the loser is gonna be on the 3 seed line IMO.    Here is a look at some team's remaining sched.
These are teams that  could be 3-4 seeds

----Mich ---- Mich St ---- N Mexico ---- Lville ---- Marquette ---- Syracuse ---- Arizona ---- Wiscy ---- OK St ---- Ohio St
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Mich St      at Mich        Wyoming       at Cuse      N Dame          Lville            at Ucla        Purdue      Texas       at Ind
at Purd       Wisc           at Nevada      Cincy         at Rutg           Depaul         Ariz St        at Mich St   at Isu       Illinois
Indiana      NWest         at Air F          N Dame     at St Johns      at Gtown                       at Penn St   Kstate

KU vs Mizzou in KC would be the balls. So would EMAW vs STL.

also, lol.at his kc group of teams-is it the 1970s?

what does that mean?
Just that all the teams in KC would be a bus ride away save Northeastern and SDSU(maybe, I bet they would bus in too).  I was not alive and/or old enough to remember but I have heard people talk about how in the 80s they started to move teams around to balance the bracket.

Also, if you are a #1 seed in KU you are guaranteed a game against one of the two schools with the biggest redass for you and you are playing them right down the street from their campus.

yes, hell of a tough ticket if you had KState v STL and KU v MU on the second day.

 if you think Mizzou and KU will play in the second round. No way in hell... Also, Mizzou will likely move up.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

This bracket is sexy!!  I love the Cats chances and KU - MU or KU - WSU in Round 2 would be unreal in KC.

When you eff up the quote function you just cement the fact that you have a dusty set of old balls.  Nice work, gramps.
