As for the rest of this thread, BMW is basically arguing that his bald speculation of what ku has in the works might be as good as what k-state already has, soooooo k-state obviously wins by about 40 furlongs. K-State is Secretariat and ku is that greyhound that thinks it's going on a walk, but is actually headed out back for a bullet to the noggin.

The bottom one is generally half full at kick-off and barely occupied in the second half due to the shitty, non-competitive product on the field.

What if KState moved the stadium to the bottom of the hill with Manhattan scribed on it? Then moved the hill with KS scribed on it over and made a stadium hill sandwich? OMG, so epic. The ceiling is literally so far up its gone beyond the space time continuum and is tickling my toes.

Also, how great is it that FSD is on fire today? Kind of sums up what we need to happen tomorrow (a random, usually bad, player to step up against the squawks). Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

One has nice facilities for a college football team. The other has nice facilities for a high school track and field team.

We just built a top 25 football complex in '08.  We have more modern football facilities than K-State.  We will also have a better track and field complex as well. 


 

All those facilities and no Big 12 North titles, let alone Big 12 titles. And where are your track and field athletes? Must have missed them in the Olympics this past year. But then again, maybe I was too busy admiring our silver medal.

We won a share of the North in '07.  The trophy is in the football complex.  As for track and field, one of our women ran for the Olympic 4x4 relay team.  Both the KU men and KU women finished in the top 25 in track and field last year.  In fact, the women are ranked #2 overall in the preseason rankings.

You won a share yet you lost the head to head with missouri and managed to not play Texas or OU.

I can't think of a more pussy way to 'win' a title.

The current ku outdoor track cannot host any conference championship meets or provide NCAA/Olympic trial qualifying times because it no longer meets distance specifications. 

Cheyenne Zulu is desperately trying to sell the new track with pie in the sky talk about getting the Big 12 Championship in Lawrence more often, Olympic Trials and National Championships.   Because he's got to try and convince a lot of raised eyebrows that ku athletics borrowing $30 million dollars via a non traditional method(s) to finance non revenue athletic facilities is worth it.   ku can't do anything with the football stadium until the track is gone.

FSD is frequently good away from the pit, IMO.
