This Shannananhan saga is interesting.  Yahoo reported this morning that Snyder is trying to find a way to fire him with cause, and CBS reported that he is going to bench RG3, presumably to infuriate Snyder.

I want Briles the eff out of this conference, and I think Dan Snyder just might be the guy to do it!

Chip Kelly makes $6.5M per year.  That would be a big raise, even for Briles.

The Dallas news says that Briles new deal puts him at $4M per year, which is top 10 for college coaches.

http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com/2013/11/baylor-extends-football-coach-art-briles-contract-2023-pay-raise-to-make-him-one-of-countrys-10-highest-paid-coaches-source-says.html/

I think NFL is our only chance to rid the conference of Briles.

Won't baylor just replace briles with another coach who beat bill and his band of geriatrics out for recruits?  I'd like to just blame our shitty recruiting on others just being better but I just can't.  I want briles to stay.

Briles doesn't scare me, he's damn near 60 and has achieved all he ever will.  Kingsbury at his alma mater still in his 30's is like stoops circa 1998.

My football philosophy is basically an attacking one. We're going to give AIR RAID a whole new definition. Theoretically how many times do you think a team can pass in a game? Challenge accepted. We're going 5 wide, chucking the pigskin all over the place. Never punt. Onside every time. Chip Kelly will be calling me to learn my offense. We will put on an exciting brand of football, we will pack them into the Alerus Center night in and night out, go ahead and blow the roof off the place and add about 35,000 seats to that place.

I don't want Briles to go to DC. The man deserves better than that dead end backwards racist moniker'd organization.

So you guys think we could steal that Madden coach from UND before they scoop him up?

Briles could go 0-16 at Washington and major college programs would still come calling. I'd like to see him get away from Baylor. He is way too good for them.

Briles isn't that scary. And Baylor keeping a good coach is good for the conference, just like Saban coming to UT would be. You loser dorks.

So....UT is just waiting on Jimbo?  I mean there really is nothing coming out.  Has a NC coach of ever immediately left their program to go to another college?

TX sports guy I follow on Twitter said that TX confirmed that Strong is a candidate.  Also said that the Penn State guy is a candidate.

I am really surprised that more hasn't come out.  Really makes you think that it has to be either Jimbo or Malzhan(sp).  I would think they have a better shot at the latter rather than the former.  Jimbo is basically a lifer at FL and stuck around a couple yrs longer than he should have had to in order to get the FSU job and now has it running at break neck speed.

Mac and Bob leaving in the same year would be rough ridin' Christmas.
