smoke on Petersen to Pig Aggie

Won't happen.  Has a good thing going at BSU.  Just like Patterson.  Why ruin that?

I pray to god that Arkansas nabs Patterson.

No, TCU's program will go into the toilet if he leaves and this conference will be even more shitty than it already is.

Your posts just bring a smile to my face.  So cheery and bright.  You're a gem Kim.  A GEM.

Go figure, TT being super derpy and viewing themselves as desirable, even though the position is filled.

yeah i think he meant as their OC working with stoops.

i heard some gundy talking to tennessee rumors but it was thought it was just to get a raise from OSU like les miles did with arkansas

edit i guess charlie strong has a good chance of being tennessee's next coach. he seems to be among the finalists according to rumors

If these reports are true, I love the hire for Arkansas. Mike Gundy will win there.

If Guz Malalalalzann can beat us on recruits at Arkansas rough ridin' State, then Gundy is going to keep his ass pounding recruiting of Kansas going at Arkansas.

Then, it will be some other guy with shiny things at OSU taking Kansas kids as well.  I do not like this.

The coach with no arms and no legs hanging on a wall "Art" Briles has inked a long term deal with Baylor.  :drink:

A hot commodity for teams looking for a new head football coach, Art Briles is reportedly not going anywhere. 247 Sports reports Briles agreed to an extension with the Baylor Bears on Sunday. No terms of the deal were reported.

Briles had been linked to the open jobs at Arkansas, Auburn and Tennessee, but he will continue building his program in Waco, Texas, rather than jump ship to the SEC.

Briles has been with Baylor since 2008, when he was hired away from Houston. He's posted a 32-30 record in five seasons with the Bears, including a rare 10-win season for the program in 2011 that ended with an Alamo Bowl win and a Heisman Trophy for quarterback Robert Griffin III.

This season, Baylor (7-5) was the only team to beat Kansas State, keeping the Wildcats out of the BCS National Championship Game. They'll play the UCLA Bruins in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27, the third straight bowl for the Bears.

Meh.  Weis is going to destroy Bill for recruits.  I dunno.  It seems like everyone will beat us for recruits; I don't see it as an issue.

Grumblings that the sticking point in negotiations is that Gundy refuses to ever Woo-Pig-Sooie as he sees that as being something only an ignorant white trashy person would do.  uni guys don't like that stance and want him to come on.  that said, they also remember that the hired a hoops guy, brought him on campus, made him woo-pig-sooie and the guy immediately left for some other absolute crap job so he wouldn't have to ever make that noise again.

some people just can't sell out as fully as it takes to do something that horrible.

I hope he shoots down Arkansas "at the alter" and goes to Tennessee.

Best of both worlds.
