Thought he was going to take a reduced role, serving as an honorary AD or whatever. No power to make hires, but still around to help out Sean and the rest of the staff. Would love for this to happen

Is being ok with dimel like being happy because you got peed in when you originally thought you were going to get pooped on? Like, I think I am ok with dimel but I can't look myself in the mirror after saying that. It feels dirty.

I think that is fair zacker. I think Dimel is the Underwood of the fball coaching search. The least, still acceptable answer and the only acceptable answer on the current staff.

Dimel would try to retain the entire staff, Charlie Dickey, etc. Del the Builder would hang it up. I don't love Dimel as an option, but I also don't hate it if Currie fails to make a big splash hire.

No worst idea ever. When Bill quits he gotta go, he can't be over anyone's shoulder. Ron sucked but it was extremely unfair for Snyder to be just posted up around his program, only hurt things didn't help even a little bit.
