well you made your kid watch return of the jedi, which has that weird scene with anakin at the end. plus the war's over and the empire or whatever is defeated and there's no reason to go backwards once you've seen the culmination.
you also have to watch #5 right after #4 so you get the DV reveal. then go back and watch the shitty ones, then come back for luke getting to see his dad's face and closure, etc.

i mean this is not brain surgery we're talking about.

The plan was 456,123, but lil CF3 saw a picture of Darth Maul and wanted to watch #1, so the order got all jumbled. He's 5. Story continuity doesn't matter that much.

i acquired the 6 movies over the weekend and watched ep1 so far. i haven't seen any of them in entirety since ep1 was in the theatres.

ep1 thoughts - holy crap is there a lot of bad in this movie. anakin is a terrible actor. jar-jar. the racism. the pod racing was pretty good tho

Fun fact darth maul survives the fall and becomes a crazed man who can't control himself and becomes even more of a badass

Also the plans for the upcoming movies are pretty great. They are doing origin stories for both rogue squadron and Boba Fett. Hope they do one for General Grevious and Yoda.

I doubt they do origin stories that go back to the Old Republic, but there was some really great canon in the video games that detailed the Sith/Jedi conflict back to the origins of the Force.

Most people can see it by YouTube. That's how I watched it all. it would be cool to see it expanded upon.

General grievous was like a darth vader prototype. Primarily why i want to see it.
