I think it's pretty obvious that Chip Kelly made a calculated decision here. Kansas State could quit playing today and still have played a tougher schedule than Oregon will have played upon conclusion of this season. We don't get to quit playing, though. We still have to play 5 teams that only have 10 losses between them. That's right, we do not have a single team left on the schedule that will end this season with a losing record. Chip knows his team would have had no chance against Kansas State, and that the odds were in his favor that we probably would not be able to run the table. Chip could have settled this on the field, but he chose to play the odds. He's a gambler, and gamblers often lose. Sorry, Chip. If we run the table, you have no business in the MNC game.
