They keep trying to blame us but you would think if they wanted a team like us they'd have scheduled Alabama in place (like how we got Miami). Instead they played Arkansas State and let them score 34 points

IN OREGON'S DEFENSE . THEY WERE UP 52-3 IN THE 2ND QUARTER AND PULLED ALL THEIRE STARTERS WITH 5 MINITS TO GO IN THE 2ND HALF - I REALLY DONT THINK KANSAS STATE WANTS ANY PART OF OREGON -

I GOT OREGON AT 9-1 TO WIN IT ALL AND I GOT KANSAS STATE AT 30-1 TO WIN IT ALL , SO IF THAT MATCH UP WAS THE TITEL GAME I WULD BE GOING FOR KANSAS STATE BUT RIGHT NOW I THINK OREGON WULD BE A 9 POINT FAVRIT ON A NEWTRAL FIELD !!!

DONT CRY ABOUT IT - I JUST TELL YOU HOW crap IS !!!

Why is anyone surprised by this?? This is what happens when you have a team, players, and program that worries more about having 500 different uniform options, PS2's in their lockers, and "fresh kicks" at their disposal.  Orogon football is built on materialistic values and a "cool" attitude.  Give me a bunch of scrappy hardworking blue collar 3* players that understand the intrinsic values and 16 Keys To Success over those pre-madonnas from the Left Coast any day of the week.  These "quacks" are a bunch of sissies.

She changed the entire genre.  You go back and you watch that Lucky Star video, and to this day, you will recognize the brilliance.

Chip Kelly is probably THE biggest cheater in college football.  He was busted for recruiting service improprieties a year ago, and to hear "in the know" types talk about it, it was merely scratching the service of the dirty recruiting that goes on up there.  Very few morals.

I'll tell you why they ducked out. It's because their coach Chip Davis is a completely spineless "artiste" type from Omaha. That's right he's the brains behind Nebraska's own Christmas music sensation Mannheim Steamroller. How he made a career change to football nobody will ever know. But you ask your everyday musician if he/she would like to coach a football game against an actual football coach, I bet you 10 times out of 10 you will get a "no way". And that's exactly what happened here.

Oregon's coach, R. Kelly is the slimiest coach in the NCAA. I hear he bangs underage girls.

The more you think about it the more it makes sense. Jim Kelly lost 4 consecutive Super Bowl's as a player. If you got into coaching after playing and had the opporunity to cancel the closest thing to a Super Bowl that exists in college football (Playing the Cats), what would you do? That's what I thought.

Oh, is he the schmuck that puts that god-awful synthesizer crap to Christmas music?  Why the hell do people deliberately ruin the holidays by playing that claptrap in the background?  Perhaps they come from bad families.  Bad families that cheer for Oregon.

I had no idea about this. Man, typical media bias not reporting on this kinda of stuff.  Disgusting.

This is actually a great question. Can Oregon even afford the buy-out? I don't want to call them a second tier university, but I am actually quite curious how they came up with the extra dough to cancel. Maybe some NCAA violations? Wouldn't surprise me one bit with that scum Richt Kelly leading the team.

Before we know it Oregon will be changing their turf to Green...Why did Boise have to start the trend of changing their turf to their school color?

I used to respect him, he coached the Twins to 2 WS championships and seemed pretty classy doing it but dodging the Cats is pretty classless.

I don't think a university controlled by a corporation can possibly be clean. All around all their athletics are just dirty. Bad university.

I was really disappointed when I read that Oregon didn't want to play K-State, but I understood given the relative plight of their program.

Dan Wetzel just basically calls out Oregon without using their name...

Quote
Mostly, it's finding the people who see Kansas State not as some distant outpost amidst the wheat fields, but as a land of opportunity, a chance to be part of something bigger than themselves – a moment in time to step out of this era of flash, flair and empty hype to a program where a humble old man, late on a glorious Saturday night can lead a team linked arm-in-arm off the field, toward their delirious fans and toward a season of everything.

just another no-history sissy program from a watered down conference not ready to make the jump to real football.  they eat nothing but PBR and vegan granola, and their most valuable player is a track athlete that died in 1975.

I read somewhere their biggest donor is the president of a shoe company (reebock if I remember right).  they can buy basically anything they want. disgusting.

Actual transcript of conversation from the summer of 2010...

Quote
Jim Kelly: Hey Coach Altman, we're scheduled to play the Kansas State Jayhawks in the next couple of years, you used to coach somewhere out there right?

Dana Altman: Its the Wildcats. Yeah, I got run out of Kansas State after 4 years. Tough fans. But their coach is a legend.

Jim Kelly: Oh, the Wildcats huh. I thought we playing Turner Gill. Oh man...

Dana Altman: Yeah, Coach Snyder was just getting started when I was there. He's a great coach. If I were you I'd do everything I could to get out of this thing.

Jim Kelly: (calls AD) Listen, we've got to get out of this deal with the Jay... Wildcats of Kansas State. No way I want to run into that buzzsaw.

Dana Altman: Its a decision you won't regret Jim. You don't want any part of LHC Bill Snyder.
