Bladder stone that was surgically removed from the dog.  I know the girl in the picture.
I wasn't sure if I should post this here, in amazing animal stories, or in cool sciencey pictures.

Was the dog ok!?

Dog made a full recovery, and is now much better at peeing.

My bro had one in his 20's. He has extremely high tolerance for pain. He said it was the worst pain ever.

Does the pain radiate around your flank to your lower back? Does it shoot down your leg? Is there pain during urination? Blood in urine?

I just passed one 3 days ago (my 4th). Pain was just average this time but it took like a month to pass it.

I have another one, my first since 2012. Apparently it's a 6mm beast.  They are going to blast it with a laser next week.  So basically Star Wars inside my  bladder and kidney. Fun stuff.

Also I drink a ton of water, and don't drink soda as instructed in 2012 so yeah there's nothing you can do apparently.

Depending on the type of stone, there are treatments to decrease your risk of growing more of these. You should talk to your doctor about it.

Also, hope you have a good recovery and are feeling better, ASAP.
