Hmmm, I may have to give one of his sports pods a listen now... He is the BITB for a reason, his sports takes can be pretty entertaining when he leaves the politics out of it.

He doesn't know how to do this.  Everything he talks about ties back to politics in one way or another.  This is an effort for him to get more viewers because people aren't listening to him due to his politics.

I thought his latest sports only pod had a good edge to it. His best stuff is usually trolling KU basketball, so he isn't quite in his lane yet.

but he wasn't very good during the royals run in 14-15 (unless you enjoy him complaining about the royals party rocking 247) and he was obviously terrible with the chiefs in 2018

BITB was BITB until he wasn't, which in retrospect was around 2011/2012. He was BITB about conference realignment, but was a complete nerd around the 2014/2015 Royals like mocat said. He couldn't stand any of the players except maybe Wade Davis and Alex Gordon, and was so dumb about cool party guys like Yordano and Salvy and Hosmer it was unbearable. His main takes around baseball from 2012-September 2014 were the players have too much fun and celebrate too many singles, and the nets need to be bigger.

Also, he thought the Chiefs should've kept Alex Smiff because he led the league in QBR 2017. Come'on man!

no one should ever disrespect the flag because there are places in Africa that are absolutely shltholes.  love it or leave it etc.  no room to complain because there are other bad places.

Half of my love for Smith was in knowing that the Chiefs could kick his ass to the curb if a Mahomes came along.  Not that I was expecting MAHOMES but, like, a young talented QB.

Kietzman is his most entertaining when he has a grievance, unfortunately, these days, he saves that energy for politics.

omg yes. then they pushed our crap in.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I wish I could listen to this but I'm going to guess it went something like this

"But they are just lil ole kansas state and you are Nebraska. Forget the 100+ year of conference history, forget the fact that K-State made the series competitive in the last 10 years."

"The fact is that you can't stand being in the same discussion as lil ole Kansas State/KU/MU. Your big bad Nebraska......But your not...Not anymore! Your just another Minnesota/Army/Princeton who just threw away 100 years of rivalries to prove you still matter!"
