Didn't see this posted yet and I'm not going to double check, but this is pollspeak's poll. They take 10 polls, and then average out the rankings into one final shmorgishborg.

I just did a list of our "Firewall" teams in the computers:

Alabama
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Notre Dame
Oklahoma

Only two play each other in the regular season

And either Georgia or Florida (Georgia if they win out) Play each other in the Championship game.

These teams need to win out. LSU beating Alabama will be the best scenario as it should keep Alabama a Firewall team and also get one undefeated team out of the way and setup a KSU VS Note Dame MNC.

Notre Dame losing hurts us a lot, unless Alabama or Oregon lose.

If Oregon loses I don't think enough human votes goes to ND to overtake us.

I am sooo torn on this. On one hand playing ND for a national title, it probably doesnt get any better then that on the field. But then I picture what may be with BBSing with Bama. You get a school and a conference coming after you. Probably get half our pigaggie friends, the paul finebaum show, all of the Bammers, mississippi folks beating down the walls just to tell us how great the Bama and by proxy the SECSEC is. Might have to upgrade the servers to handle an entire month of that.

I got super butthurt last year when I found out that Pinkel and Shaw had voted OSU 4 or 5 or whatever it was.  I can't imagine what I'll be like if I find out that somebody voted Oregon 1, and us behind some 1 loss SEC team or something.

I lay awake at night worrying that Bama, UO, ND and the Cats are all undefeated and the final coaches poll has all the garbage coaches in the PAC putting KSU 4th and UO 2nd or 1st.  Replace in the above statement UO with ND and garbage PAC coaches with pud ACC coaches and I am ready to start looking for a bridge.
