Insiders article on espn says Oregon would have a hard time ending up #2...in a sign of how ridiculous the computers can be...if they beat usc the 1st time and again in the cc game the fact that usc would then have 3 losses would hurt their computer #s (despite 2 of the losses being to Oregon) and that would hurt them significantly enough that an undefeated ksu should jump them...fwiw

I agree 2 SEC teams is highly unlikely, if not impossible, just spitballing

We picked up 30 net points on Oregon in the coaches poll (despite falling from 3rd to 4th)

That is a difference of .0068 in the BCS total.

We trailed Oregon by .0030 last week.

Boom.  Roasted duck.

Also gained net 2 spots in Sagarin against Oregon.

It wouldn't really affect us, but I'd rather play a head coach going to the NC for the first time than one going for their 19th.

I'm not worried about SEC getting 2 in.  I'm worried about Oregon.  Even if we are ahead of them now, they have Oregon St/USCx2/Stanford to gain ground on us.

Oregon is the only team we have to worry about.  They need to lose.

I've watched Florida a few times.  They really aren't that great.  Their offense won't move at all on Alabama, and Bama has an offense good enough to move the chains on UF. 

It will be something like a 9-3 fap match that SEC fans will cream over.

That puts us .0355 behind Oregon using only the human polls.  For reference, last week we were .0497 behind Oregon in the human polls (gained .0142) and ahead of them by .0467 in the computers.  If the computers hold the same, we will be .0112 ahead of Oregon.  For reference, we already gained 2 spots in them on the Sagarin.

I think we probably have the toughest schedule week in, week out for the rest of the year.  No slouches on our schedule. Everybody else in the top 5 has at least 2.
