Phil Savage, the guy who makes the final roster decisions for the Senior Bowl has a fine eye for talent, especially quarterbacks, so if he doesn't think Collin is good enough for his game we should be okay with that. I mean Savage was responsible for this
Savage stole the headlines in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft as the Browns drafted Wisconsin offensive tackle Joe Thomas with the third pick overall, and then acquired Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn with the 22nd pick, acquired through a trade with the Dallas Cowboys. The Browns gave up their 2007 second-round pick and 2008 first-round draft selection to Dallas for the chance to pick Quinn.
I mean not only did he draft Brady Quinn in the first round he gave away another first round pick and a second round pick to get him. Phil Savage is clearly a qb evaluation savant.
