The restaurant that replaced Haus apparently has a burger in between two BLTs. Didn't that Swagger place everyone loved cause it was on TV once do that gimmick already?

Is it going to be like that spot that was kites in Lenexa, that nothing works there?

YES! kind of surprising how spicy it is, no?  and the place is trash inside.  and the sides are so bad.  BUT THE CHICKEN!!  OY VEY!

yeah, and it's still a soft opening so the service/wait staff is pretty lol.  probably just buy a bunch of chicken next time and get it to go, no sides.  I didn't think it was overly spicy (I love spice) but you could definitely tell it was there, and it gave the chix a great flav.  I don't eat a lot of fried chicken, so don't really have any other good fried chicken to compare it to, but it was definitely the best I've had.

I'll have to take mother fanning there. She wanted to try it when we were in Memphis, but got out voted for a new bbq place every time.

They had the Dead Texan - burger between 2 grilled cheese on Texas Toast.

i forgot to mention earlier that i tried El Porton on Linwood last weekend. they have a Venezuelan philly sandwich that is out of control and i am probably going to get again tonight. it is delicious and big enough for 2 people. i recommend it, as much as i can possibly recommend a food item.

Hit plate. Brookside tonight....not so bad.  Don't think it's the scene that will make it in the BKS but their food was average+.  Had an $18 bottle of red on the menu...I can't remember the last time I saw a bottle that cheap.
