it's like grunauer shanked clams' mom or something, sheesh
german food is disgusting (so is their language)
i would eat that pork shank and mashed potatoes but is that really Frühschoppen?  seems more like something i would find on the Abendessen menu.

Where is that 'clams?

right down from Ok Joes in KCK in the newly redeveloped strip mall on the north side of 47th

I frequent that strip mall. I've bought a lot of booze from that liquor store, and a few items from that MAJ-R Thrift, including, but not limited to a paola panthers football crewneck sweatshirt and a ladies vest.

the NorthWood center.  there's a new pizza place going in there too, it's owned by squawks.  called 1889 Pizza Napoletan.

t-pubs is pretty good, though i swear they've messed up my order 90% of the time.  and it's kinda pricey but it works in a pinch.

but ya, that area is night and day from what it used to be.  will be interesting to see who wins out, the poors from the north side of 47th, or the not quite poor/somewhat medium from the south of 47th.

BAT won't work for me, my BLT's consist of toast - > bacon - > mayo - > toast

Grunauer is more Austrian than German, IMO.  And they both have some great food.  But I've never known spaetzle to be in a brunch menu.

Didn't we talk about this one other time, but my favorite German food is a bierock, but German places hardly ever have them.  I checked that menu and they didn't have them either.  BOOOOOOO!

Succotash has them regularly (or is it "you say tomato" , I always confuse them)

There use to be a German place on Martini Corner that I liked, but it didn't make it.  :frown: They had a great trivia night.
