we won't get bigger and better teams at sprint.
aren't we going to play uf there?
yeah. That's one game out of 6 semi-home:semi-home series that is bigger than the annual MU game would be. (and that's debatable IMO).
We won't consistently get teams the caliber of UF to play us there.
Good point. No way we could get a program like Duke to play there.
We didn't.

so let me get this straight...
you said... "we won't get bigger and better teams at sprint".
i said...what about florida? they have won two out of the last seven national championships.
you said...it's debatable that florida is "bigger and better" than mu.
fact...mu has never been to a final four in their history. florida has won two national championships in the last ten years.
please tell me that you have a rabit that i'm missing.
Yes, UF is a better program. I should have clarified that the two MU games would be better covered, more entertaining, and more valuable to KSU than our two games with Florida. I also don't think we will consistently get teams the caliber of UF to play us, as evidenced by the other 3 semi-home series we have scheduled.
1) yes uf is better. much, much better. not debatable.
2) the "better covered, more entertaining, and more valuable" is all total bullshit dumbass stuff, just on different levels and i know you have to know that.
kstate sucked, sucked, sucked for ten years. spring center was not there. kstate got decent, sprint center was built, kstate had a head coach that recruited florida... kstate all of the sudden plays rough ridin' florida (a top 5 team in the 2000's) in sprint. jesus how did that happen? well, i'll assume that this was a good opportunity for frank to keep recruiting in florida and in a big way.
kstate has never been able to recruit missouri in bball. (gavin, lol?). didn't exactly get dixon or denmon even though we played mu twice a year during that time.
bottom line for me is...why not hire a coach and then schedule teams that will be fun that year or the next year and are from areas that the new coach recruits from, instead of dumbass mu ever year?
