Southern Mississippi State University would be more prestigious, IMHO.

BTW  :dubious: to you having better bbq then KC.

Is ridic to me that all they want to do is defend their BBQ.  Meanwhile they are cool with being racist, fat, lazy, unhappy, poor, and bad at basketball all the while ignoring Peyton and Eli as their two best alumn.

Mind blowing.

I honestly get the feeling that unless the ball will be covered in sauce prior to tip on Thursday, that no MS fan will be watching.
I had to drive through mississippi on my way to New Orleans one time. It was scary as crap. I Drove right through Brittney Spears hometown. They didn't even have a sign for her. The sign for the town said "Home of the best bbq in the world, eff you basketball/brittney and rot in hell". Another sign said "eff you president obama, you catfish face". There's something with them and catfishes down there.

You'd think it was extreme sarcasm and purposefully done, but the more you read, the more you realize it's actually just plain stupidity.

Without even having gone to USM.... no, they don't get to not wear shirts to class. Obviously. Your cousin didn't go there, or is a damn fool. Either the former or the latter, but probably both.

Where is your cousin from? I don't have to know him because he's wrong. Logically, he's either making something up extreme (no wayyyyzzz!!! to make you laugh) or.... well, that's what he did.

I heard you don't have to wear pants to go to KSU. It's true, my friend went there.

There you have it....someone making judgements without actually having gone there.  Shirts required in MS....pfft.

I don't think he knows my cousin either.  A lot of ill-informed judgements being made by this poster and frankly, I don't think the board is the place for that.

Funny, because Britney Spears is from Kenner, LA. Good story, though.

Just calling it like I see it. I have friends that are way more reliable than this so-called "cousin". I'm pretty sure no one in America can do that, but that's just logic talking. Besides the fact that most on this board aren't even sure who they are playing; I'm guessing nobody on here actually knows what goes on at Southern Miss. Or Ole Miss. Or whomever you think you're playing. Sounds like y'all are pretty diehard. May need to slow down on the O'Doul's and read a Wikipedia article at least.

I take offense to your bad-mouthing of my cousin-in-law.  I don't talk poorly on your shirtless friends that go to USM, who are all liars

OH- your BBQ sauce being better than that in the South? Yeah, let's just say I'd have serious doubts. Not sure if you've ever been to...... Memphis...... Alabama.... to know...
OMG he thinks Memphis is in Alabama

OMGZZZ, no, I thought you had enough book larning to be able to distinguish between Memphis and places in Alabama. My bad, I obviously should have been able to discern this from this whole thread and post appropriately so as not to confuse.

Memphis, TN (Rendezvouz)- Charlie Varga's, nationally known
Tuscaloosa, AL (Dreamland)
Birmingham, AL (Jim and Nick's)

Numerous un-named, but those are more well-known. I don't feel like looking up every place that's nationally acclaimed. Not to mention the smaller places that are pretty good.

Not that I even care for BBQ that much; I'd much rather have Italian or steak or whatever, but apparently BBQ is a big deal in Kansas.

Y'all do have better windmills than us, though.

Yeah- read a Wikipedia article. I did say that. I'd hate to blow your minds and ask you to look up anything that takes more time.

Ha- I'm not a Southern Miss fan, actually. Just noticed how uninformed almost everyone on this thread was on their opponent. My team actually does have better windmill dunks than your team, but that's besides the point.

Are you sure you play Southern, or is it Ole Miss? May want to look it up to make sure. Sure wouldn't want this entire thread to be about the wrong team. Do y'all even watch sports, or are you limited by the amount of energy the family windmill gives you?

 :combofan: Peace out, girlscout.

It is amazing that with a name like Ms Soccer, you would throw out "girlscout" to a male poster like it was an insult.

I know the south has a history of hierarchy of oppression and that women are not at the top, but in this day and age, it is ok to not be ok with this.  Stand up.  As a woman you are an equal here at goEMAW.

OR.... I thought people might have the smarts to determine the "ms", despite the lower-case letters, meant MS the state. Again, I was wrong.

And personally, as a female, I don't feel that's a putdown to my gender. But I am a female, so I guess I would know better than a male trying to decide if it was appropriate or not. It's just a salutation, really meant nothing defamatory to my gender or his. I didn't even know he was a guy.

Hang on.... are you equating all females to female horses?

Not sure how well that goes over in Kansas- maybe it's desirable. I'm not sure that would get you very far elsewhere.

This thread isn't even that good.  It's like we aren't even trying. Come tournament time, it's okay to play down to your competition as long as you get the win, but I'm worried about our standard of play heading into the Syracuse game.

Yes, this is Britney Spears. Great guess. Just wanted to make sure people knew which state they were driving through.
