I realize the whole gist of this thread is to make fun of Southern Miss. Didn't take a page to see that, obviously. It is kind of a strange way to go about it to not even know who you are talking about for about 99% of the posts. It'd be a cool post if it was funny, but I can see why you have to be at least 13 to come on this site, as it seems the majority of your posters are probably 13-16.
You'd think it was extreme sarcasm and purposefully done, but the more you read, the more you realize it's actually just plain stupidity.
Brett Favre (that's how you spell his name; no, it's not common, but just like a name like Krzyzewski, it's one where anybody that's watched sports for any amount of time would know how to spell) went to Southern Miss. Not Eli Manning, who went to Ole Miss. Not Archie Manning, who went to Ole Miss. Not Peyton Manning, who went to Tennessee.
Jim Crow laws.... how sheltered can you be? It's always amazing to me when somebody tries to act educated, yet you can tell they've probably never made a trip outside their own state. Just a suggestion: get out and see the rest of the United States. Then go see the world. I see more racism out of other places than I see in the South- try New York, Italy, England on for size. God knows what happens in Kansas.
Without even having gone to USM.... no, they don't get to not wear shirts to class. Obviously. Your cousin didn't go there, or is a damn fool. Either the former or the latter, but probably both.
Sad that you post this trash in this guy's name- yes, I read the story a few weeks ago. Maybe he posted like this too, I don't know. If this is how you want to remember him, that's fine, but it's not exactly giving him a positive memorial for the rest of the people that didn't know him.
BTW: your Westboro Baptist Church has tried a few times to make their appearances in MS. Strangely enough, they decided not to make any more after their first. (Yes, I'd be an idiot if I tried to blanket the state of Kansas with Westboro, but I guess it's the same as what you are doing to MS.)
OH- your BBQ sauce being better than that in the South? Yeah, let's just say I'd have serious doubts. Not sure if you've ever been to...... Memphis...... Alabama.... to know, but BBQ is a big deal in the South. Dumb argument, but I can guarantee you if I go to Kansas, it won't be to try the BBQ.
