crap these guys won't even claim one of their own alumns like Eli Manning. He won two Super Bowls for Christ sake. The hate flows so freely that they even hate themselves.

I bet Archie is pissed that they don't even know which of his sons attended his Alma Mater. He is more of a legend there than Eli.

Hey folks.  I'm from South Mississippi and I would like to give you a little information.  First off, at least in Hattiesburg there isn't nearly as much racism as everyone here seems to think.  Second, Eli Manning went to Ole Miss, which is in Oxford, MS, not USM.  I don't appreciate you guys perpetuating the stereotypes of southern people.  Nobody goes to school without shirts.  Racism is looked down upon, especially since we have a black mayor.  Jim Crow laws are not still in effect.

Don't judge all of us by a couple of videos and contextless pictures you found on the internet.  And whoever said you found a bunch of clan websites?  Nobody down here even acknowledges the clan.  What the hell?  I thought we were all grown ups around here.

Ole Miss???  Never heard of it.  Is that some play on the Potato Ole and some portion of town with Mexican culture?  If so, good god....

I mean, we just aren't used to such blatant racism.

The University of Mississippi is called Ole Miss... as in Old Miss... C'mon, I didn't think people in Kansas were this stupid.

Indeed, Eli Manning went to Ole Miss, Peyton to U. of Tennessee.  The 'Blind Side', also know as Michael Oher, also went to Ole Miss.  The mascot picture that was posted earlier used to be the Ole Miss Rebel, but they are now the Black Bears.  USM is the Golden Eagles.  It would be nice to see some accurate facts in a hate spewing thread like this, but I guess I shouldn't expect that from Kansas fans.

For the record, I could care less about USM basketball, but I just might have to pay attention to this game.  Could you guys imagine if you lost?!  Oh the shame!  To be beaten by those racist folks in Mississippi would be just terrible.

Jackasses.

If it wasn't in the state of Mississippi, I would have a hard time believing a collegiate institution would misspell "old".

Having your mascot be a Black Bear gives you guys the oppy to tell everyone that you aren't racist since your mascot is black.  I get it.  Was a good move.

The Civil Rights movement would be set back all the way to slavery I imagine...but of course you "people" would just love that wouldn't you!  The South will rise again and all that?

don't worry SoMiss, the same guys that started this thread are actually Klan members themselves.  they run with a rough crowd from out near Oberlin and come to these boards only to raise a ruckus.  i've talked to the sheriff out that way about them and getting the internet disconnected from them but right now we can't legally do that.  i'm working on some other things too that i won't disclose on this public message board.

i know a few of them burned down a school in nebraska recently and have other gang related crimes they've committed.  only problem is that we never have enough evidence to make the charges stick, so they keep getting released.

Dumbasses. Southern Mississippi is where they ring bells after a touchdown, when they're on defense in football, and when they hit a 3 pointer. i always loved watching that on tv. "We need more cowbell"!

My nephew, who knows someone that has a cousin that went to Mississippi Southern Tech, says that the cheerleaders elect one of themselves to be the honorary cowbell wearer. When they make a free throw, they pick her up and shake her. I'm told it doesn't happen very often. Personally, I can't wait to see that during the game. Should make for some good entertainment.

shut the hell up.  you're a moderator and your allegiance needs to be with the truth.  i don't care if your brother is one of the Klan who is responsible for this whole mess with the Southern Miss posters.  i've already written the main moderator to have your powers taken away until after the ncaa tournament.  just shut the hell up now.
