You guys are going to talk me into buying a Peloton, goddamnit.
Pros— I feel better about myself
Cons— still pretty fat

So I was never a cardio guy. Actually hate it, which is kinda weird since I love to put my headphones on and zone out while working out. I have done lifting routines since college. I even tried to force myself into a running routine and it started ruining my day thinking about doing it at night so I bailed after like a month. Anywho, I don't hate the Peloton. The jams are pretty good and I can always hop on and do at least 20 minutes. My daily routine is now a 20 min ride followed by 20-30 minutes of lifting. I'm old balls now so I don't lift heavy crap that much any more so adding the Peloton and then transferring my lifting to pushups/pullups, dumbbells and bands has been great. If you are on the fence, set a Craigslist alert and see if you can get lucky. I got one that still had the wrap on it for a great deal right before the pandemic. You probably aren't going to get that lucky, but its worth a shot especially if you are on the fence anyway.

Weighed myself today and I'm down another 15-17lbs from the last time I weighed myself and down 40 now from where I was at for several years.  :Woot:

Does you CF box do a 12 Days of Christmas WOD? We did:

1. Jerk
2. Clean
3. DL
4. Burpee over bar
5. WB
6. Pullups
7. Jumping lunges
8. T2B (K2E)
9. HSPU / HRPU
10. Cal bike
11. Cal row
12. Burpee MU (pullup for me)

I was hurting pretty bad by the end of 12 rounds but it felt good to finish!

3- DB or KB Thrusters
4- DB or KB OH or Front Rack Lunges
5- Power Snatches
6- OH Squats
7- Pushups
8- Shoulder to OH
9- Front Squats
10- Hang Power Cleans
11- Deadlifts
12- Burpees

The OH squats / front squats and thrusters in that would destroy me. Our class thought about tinkering with the whiteboard to add some thrusters for the next group.

@Kat Kid you try out the Lane Break on Peloton yet?  I was skeptical but I like it a lot.

I have been weight lifting and coaching and have completely neglected peloton for awhile.  I need to get back on a schedule.

It’s like 70 degrees in Kansas.  If any of you guys are inside on a Peloton, I’m going to fly out there and destroy it like stevedave and his dojo buddies at the Ernie Barrett statue.

Peloton is great (so I hear) but if you can get a good group of bros or broettes to workout with you should. Friends for life

Peloton is fantastic. I'm still fat, but I feel better about getting 30 minutes of cardio in 5 days a week. Probably gotten more use out of the Peloton bike and membership in the last 6 months than all gyms combined in the last 10 years.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Guys, I got a couple of pairs of exercise shorts from this company called Ten Thousand that I heard about on a podcast a few months ago. They feel awesome. May be more information than anyone wanted but I would recommend the 7" tactical short with liner:

Anyone have a recommendation for acquiring home gym equipment?  Squat rack, bench, etc.  The new house has an oversized 3 car garage, so looking to build a home gym in part of it.  So far the best I have found is https://www.titan.fitness/. TIA
