I have pretty kick ass views of trees and a creek and a walking trail full of stay at home moms out doing their walking.

buy a rower or an assault bike.. rower would probably be better for you. assault bike makes you feel like you boozed 24/7 the day before

Sounds like you should spend $100 on some running shoes and go hang with the SAHMs.

does anyone have a peloton bike or tread? people that have them are like crossfit people in having to tell you how much they love them and how much they do it. if it's something that would get me as horned up for cardio as these people I would buy it.

I think the Peloton's are pretty good. Running is boring as eff for a lot of people and the Peloton model seems like a great motivator so I say go for it.

there's also mirror that just got bought by Lululemon:

The peloton bike+ looks cool but I just couldn't throw down that amount of $$$.

I did do the push ups like willie does during the football game Saturday as an extra workout, so 101 pushups over the course of the game, so that was good  not so much for the outcome though  :frown:

I got an Echelon rower that I like.  They have a bike too that is a cheaper peloton.  Biggest difference I've heard is they use an iPad for the screen other than the sexy super nice peloton one.

What kind of rower? Would you recommend? Seeing those fancy ones and considering if it would be better than a peloton.

Is it worth the money?

I had an older model of the same one. The display is super basic which might be fine for you but it's not going to make you excited to work out on it.  It's basically a mechanical machine with a pedometer (or rowing equivalent) on it.  The plus is that there isn't much to break.  I liked it and it gave a really good work out.  The seat part folds vertical to store pretty easily.  It is fairly loud.

I'm getting this

We’ve got a peloton.  They’re smooth af compared to your normal spinning bike.   I’m not really a cardio guy so I don’t use it much except to get ready for ski season.  My wife loves it though.

Looking to get some machines for the workout room.  Thinking Peloton cause everyone seems to love it.  Also looking for a nice elliptical but not sure which brand and type.

Need help.  Thank you!

Hit a 185# snatch today. Haven't been lifting too heavy soo it was good to throw that in the face of the other 4 dudes working out with me today.  Also makes me realize not as strong as I once was and how freaking strong some people are

every 4 minutes for 16 minutes meaning you do that 7 front squats followed immediately by 13 back squats 4 times. it was taking me between a minute and a minute and a half to finish the set and then rest until its time for the next set.  you need to establish a front squat max to do the %s though obviously.

Losing the dad bod with modified tabita. Grab a couple sets of dumbbells and run through a full body circuit. Three circuits with core strength for rest between each set. Nice results so far. Might see that 32" waist in a couple months after being uncomfortable in my 34" pants not long ago.

Also been low carb for two weeks now. That certainly helps.

i have too many conflicting goals and too many eating disorders to be successful

like i want to be bigger than a house and stronger than a bus but also fit into one airplane seat and wear human clothes
