Felix, it might've gotten missed with the explosion of the Anne Patterson dilemma, but how'd people push a vehicle that had people in it who presumably could've driven away from or over people off a bridge?

I am just assuming the vehicle was a scooter and there were like 4 cops on it.   :dunno:

Nope!

Here's the truck on the way down.

Yeah.  Wasn't there an earlier pic showing it on it's roof on the bridge?  I would assume it flipped for some Egyptian reasons and they pushed it over once it was off it's wheels.   :dunno:

This kinda blows my mind a little.  I mean, I can't imagine calling my wife and her letting me know how her day was going based on the presence of gunfire or not.

My wife's daily recap has been better than normal lately.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Don't think so.  The pic andFR's descripton makes me think it eventually ended on its roof after being pushed off the bridge.

Maybe too graphic? Police car thrown off bridge.

As far as I know, the ACP was on the bridge assuming a normal vehicle-type posture and then was shoved over the bridge, assuming a decidedly inappropriate posture for said-type of vehicle. These pics should show up soon in the NYT and whatnot, so we should get a (brief) description of events.

FR I think the people are wondering why, if you're in a vehicle that functions as a vehicle, one would let a mob push them off a bridge.

The MB has torn up the pavement and tiles from surrounding streets and sidewalks, etc to build barricades on several major transit points, in addition to using sheer numbers to block vehicles, then yank officers from the car and beat them. I haven't linked to some vids because of the graphic nature (i.e. randos jump-kicking blood-stained cops who are desperately trying to walk away after being beaten). They're out there if you want to see them.

I'd be a good Egyptian cop driver based on my ability to maneuver KSU sports congested parking lots.

FR, what is the relationship between the cops and the military?  I guess I would expect military helicopters coming to the aid of these cops that are finding themselves in bad situations

someone should dub the video of the jeep going off the bridge with  a power station jam.  some like it hot, bang a gong, etc- you pick.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

pretty close. after the police sweep went so badly today, the new government re-instituted the state of emergency that had previously been in effect for 30 years under Mubarak, along with a curfew of 7pm to 6am for the next month (officially: indefinitely). The police were the B team.

In 1972 , a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem...if no one else can help...and if you can find them...maybe you can hire...The A- Team.

Also,

At least 149 people were killed and more than 1,400 were wounded, state TV reported.

Don't trust anything from the Egy gov or the MB. They're both hilarious liars. I'm still amazed at how the NYT and CNN just mindlessly repeat info from MB sources like Gehad el-haddad (a nazi-level propagandist) seemingly because they don't have sufficient people on the ground to get independent info.
