I just finished a a walking/mass transit tour of most of the city. It feels like a classroom where two kids had a big argument by the coat racks in the morning and agreed to fight after school.

Also, I found a very good sandwich stand in Nasr City.

Oh, and I don't presume to establish the editorial line for this online sports blogging forum, but if people had the impression (for whatever reason) that "goEMAW Supports the Revolution," we would all be pretty much okay with, right?

Going to need some deets on that.  Non local news deets.  Summarize and lets put it to a poll.

I'm going to defer to the expert(s). But revolutions are normally where it's at.

If you don't feel like doing that, just put a 2' tall pak head on one of those tanks and get a guy in the top of the tank to combofan it up and endorsement will come in tsunami form.

I thought they just had a revolution there. They called it the Arab Spring, or something like that.

Yeah. They're everywhere right now. One downtown has a hole in the middle for pedestrians. Two people coming from opposite directions got stuck in it last month (Egyptians are really bad at lines).

Not publicly announced yet, but the embassy has started evac protocols for non essential personnel and family members.

They're chanting in tahrir that "mubarak's walls will protect you as we'll as the did Mubarak". It rhymes in Arabic.

I have wondered how I would feel when the essential/non essential line is drawn

I just saw a guy shoot someone live on TV. Holy crap. Now the crowd is beating and kicking the guy while the police stand by and watch.

Egyptians rough ridin' hustle. Gas crisis leads to long lines? Opportunity.

I mean, delivery is one thing. But these guys are actually servicing shisha pipes for drivers outside the station. So great.
