back in the ksufans days someone (honestly don't remember who) invited me to go to one of those paks and fatty was one of the people who was going to be there

I didn't go because I had already made gameday plans

I remember him telling the story about seeing Frank Martin in a coffee shop and he felt like Frank really liked him and enjoyed their conversation, unlike he did with other K-State fans, because they had the "minority connection".

I'll never forget the time that I saw Fatty celebrating like we won the national championship on the concourse of the Devaney Center after we beat Nebrasketball last year. He was just so damn happy and the NU fans were getting so pissed at him. 

I saw Fatty in the concourse after the game and gave him a high five. It was a big enough moment for me (I'm giving FFF a high five!) that I drew a picture of it and emailed it to a friend.



The last time I saw Fatty was in the concourse at the KU football game in Lawrence last year. He was with his family. I told him how I could read a post on goEMAW, not think it was funny, and then after realizing it was one of his posts, immediately start laughing for minutes. He was pretty happy about this and had me repeat this to his siblings.

I mean I love _fan's stats and breakdowns and Steve Dave can be quite the jokester, but nothing ever beat a new fatty thread. You just new the moment you saw it, it was going to be great. I had the privilege of meeting fatty one time, I work at the union bookstore and I recognized him from the the you tube video of him wabashing. I introduced myself and we chatted up the cats. He was so good at keeping a conversation going and bringing up great points. When he was leaving I said it was nice to talking to him and I made the comment that he wasnt even close to being fat, so why the screen name? He just looked at me and smilled. overall great person. RIP FFF

I'm going to have to watch my fatty-produced 59-55 DVD tonight or tomorrow. That game was a pinnacle for fats...and such a great production. Even has the Bob Davis radio track on it for your enjoyment.

My goodness.  I have got to see that. For a bunch of different reasons, but especially for the Bob Davis track. What an artist.

Another reason I loved FFF was that he would spell crap all weird just for the hell of it (like "2maro"). And then he would often follow it with this guy:    FFF was crazy smart but would always have hilarious random misspellings of kinda-hard-but-not-too-hard words that I always figured he spelled wrong on purpose just because it made it look funnier. Same with random commas and apostrophes. And I'll always be grateful that he started this thread that provided me so many lols.
