One of the best moments ever in Scrubs is JD internally says “I wonder if I can ask Turk something telepathically. Turk, you still wanna hang out tonight?” then Turk goes (out loud) “yeah, you still wanna watch that show?” and then they continue the conversation out loud and never acknowledge that JD asked Turk something telepathically and Turk answered.

I'm so glad he got the gooch story line, he absolutely deserved it. The arc was cute and funny.

Liked today's episode. They recorded this one before Sam Lloyd's death so that was a little awkward, imo. Not much they can do though. Enjoyed a few stories they told about him.

Yes, that was a weird time not to do a deep dive into the episode, it was a pretty significant one. I've started watching the episodes the night before the pod and I was expecting a deep dive with the bus scene. Whenever I watch the episode it always seems to me that there's an unspoken subtext about why Carla blew up (overreacted), it would have been nice to have that explored.

agreed, it always bothered me how easily Carla and JD moved past that, especially with JD patronizing her again the next day.
I had also forgotten the original music for that scene.

Just watched season 8 for what can't be more than my third time. I can't believe how little I've revisited it. Only other finales that are comparable in quality are BoJack and Six Feet Under.

Season 8 was fantastic and they absolutely nailed the landing. I think the uncertainty of the last 4 years of the show didn't allow season 8 to star like it should have. It's easily my favorite season.

ha, I was going to complain about them, haven't listened to today's though. Christa Miller is fantastic, but Donald has been kinda crap. I'm over having the two of them with Sarah, I think those episodes would be better if it were just Sarah and Zach.

nah i agree. He is definitely the weak link. maybe my love for the show is not allowing me to be objective.

OK MIR. The last two have been good, right? Loved Neil, although i wanted to hear more from him. I enjoyed Shea cuz they talked more about the show which was enjoyable. He laugh was less so. Donald still annoying.

I'll hit that one tomorrow, I'm interested to hear the explanation as to why they just didn't decide to cut those scenes. The one with Elliott in blackface I didn't even remember.

WW, yes those two were good, I think I've given up on the podcast being useful as an insiders show recap, it's stunning how little they know about the show because of how successful they've been away from it. I bet Rob Macchio and Aloma Wright know a lot more about the show.
