I liked the part where he held the team on his shoulders.

I challenge someone to give me Rod's BIG12 stats.

I liked his dunk shot at the end.

You know the one where he flings his arms back afterwards?

Love that.

Which was better the steal by tay, the assist by angel or the finish by rod? Please only responses from those in the know.

In the last few years we've seen  Walker, Beasley, Jake, Clemente and Rodney.

Wow.

Pretty sure I'm going to name my first born Rodney Macgruder.   Like, that will be his first and last names.  The kid won't even have to be saddled with my last name at all.  Also might give him Billy as a middle name.  Might refer to him as "The Beaz" when he gets into mischief.

When Rodney was sitting on the bench because of fouls he was doing some serious coaching.  At one point Angel had come off (think it was because of a bad foul) and Lamont went over to talk to him.  Rodney rushed over and bumped Lamont pretty hard so he could get in Angels face.  Not in a mean way, just in the adorable way that you'd expect from Rod.  Lamont brushed him away and Rodney went to go sit down but once Lamont left he went back over to talk with Angel more.

Rodney is the chicken soup for my soul.

Rodney's legacy could be right up there with Jake's when things are all said and done.  Incredible to see him stepping up into the leadership role.

I like the fact that he was a 4 star.  We should recruit more of those.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008
