would never

Would never live under the fascist heel of an hoa? Me neither sd, me neither.
Yes, gross.

Ive left the land of the free and now live under the iron thumb of the authoritarian HOA rule.
Do you have to ask permission before redoing hardwood floors?

They are at old house, which we moved from to get away from slummy rentals.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Team HOA if they just are there to do the maintenance. You are speaking to a current HOA president by the way

HOA in the burbs where their only goal in life is to fulfill dumb rules would drive me insane.

If it's like most HOAs I've seen, quite a few near-death people at least

I lived in an HOA growing up but not like a weird one where they tell you that you can't paint your house a certain color.
The HOA went towards the pool and basketball court and what not. All HOAs should be more like that
Really HOAs should just be voluntary. Allows community funded stuff if there is enough support and keeps the gazpacho confined to SD’s neighborhood.

You’re the shadow president. We know who is really in charge.

I do love how many of my HOA-loving neighbors have "don't tread on me" flags.

Become HOA president and immediately ban all of those flags.

Nah, I like the historical part where each section of a snake is a colony telling the red coats to F off.

This flag has history, as well. Roughly 100% of Texans recognize this flag. Roughly 95% of non-Texans don't recognize this flag.

Mexicans certainly came and took it at the Alamo.  They even took Jim Bowie's knife.

Never forget the Alamo?

It's not from the Alamo. It's from the Battle of Gonzales.
