Went top load LG. Had a front load and was fine with that too but I think the top load will work better in my setup.

Our washer dryer space is pretty elite.  Front loaders and covered in a cabinet.  The works really.

The only thing I really hate about front loaders are what a scam it is to buy the pedestal/storage drawers. Like $200 per appliance or something ridiculous.

the one I bought was more in a different color and I couldn't for the life of me justify any additional cost for a washer color.  Like wtf you hosting parties in your laundry rooms?  I guess if you had the ones in your closet?

At what point in my homeownership do I begin to complain about renters in the neighborhood bringing down my property value?

You don't unless they're trashy. In that case, you bitch about the landlord not keeping crap clean.

Well, I don't know which of my neighbors are renters but it's a very popular topic on the neighborhood Facebook group.

Your HOA allows non owner occupied residency?

Have to get new flooring. It’s going to be the death of my wife now that she actually has to decide.

Ive left the land of the free and now live under the iron thumb of the authoritarian HOA rule.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

That's hilarious to me, I live in a neighborhood with tons of renters and my property values is 50k more now than when I bought it, and some of the more trashy houses are owners.

What a weird world.

Also HOAs can burn in hell.

I lived in an HOA growing up but not like a weird one where they tell you that you can't paint your house a certain color.
The HOA went towards the pool and basketball court and what not. All HOAs should be more like that
