I just think it's funny when people like Headinjun want to call me a hypocrite for positions they just assume I hold. But in answer to the question, I wouldn't take my son to the police for drug possession either. I'd get him some help.

I think you missed the point of his post, pretty much entirely. Or at least the part I was interested in hearing about. We already know you wouldn't turn your kid into the police even if he was the son of sam. I think headinjun was wondering if you're as worried about the poor black kid that is unfairly incarcerated as you are about your son rubbing elbows with that same gentleman. At least that's how I read the question.
