I kind of liked Dave when the Cowboys were on that insider show they do every year on HBO.

With that said, I think it's hard for long time NFL guys to understand that they ain't taking the field with NFL talent across the board in places like Lawrentucky.

My gawd, 90+% of the Phog loves this hire. One KSU fan posts and Naismith asks to have his post deleted. Pittsburg is deleting posts and is now requesting he be banned. They're a rough ridin' cult over there.

Yep, and there's no free-agency in college ball. Unless you're Alabama or LSU. Coaches have to be able to develop, develop, develop.

No coincidence Weis won with Willingham's 5* players, but sucked with his own 5* players. No player development took place over the course of his tenure. At least, according to some college insider who was on 810 a month ago.

Yeah. Pitt actually does a lot more I think. Bossi was a national scout guy, but mostly focused on KU and UNC.

Not surprising, because farm-state could never bring in this kind of talent.

Bottom line: we had a nice run. But 59-7/21 hurt us in the long run.
