and Charlie Weis. 

Pretty easy to make the case he is the 10th best coach.  Really easy. 

oh my.  That's maybe the best collection of coaches in the country (and also Charlie Weis).

Apparently Cheyenne Zulu just did an interview on 810 and mentioned Leach.  Said this:

810 interview.  He said KU was interested but 3 things he cited.  He said KU really never had a chance. Leach did not want to be in same league as Tech.  He liked the QB at Wash St..  And the fact Wash St had a better record than KU and appearing to be closer to winning.

There is nothing wrong with wearing a watch. However, you should realize that in this day and age, a watch is nothing more than a piece of jewelry. It needs to be fashionable, otherwise, LOL at anybody wearing a watch just to tell time.

One would think that Charlie knew that Haley was going to get canned by next season at the latest. So getting closer to KC would make sense. Also, you would think Charlie would prefer not having to recruit.

Then when Cassel started making strides in 2010, and Weis was getting credit for it in the media, it drove Haley nuts. And Weis had to go.

Cassel did not excel under Weis. That coaching job was done by Haley. Weis washed his hands of Cassel's development very early.

This is sounding more and more like "Holy eff, everyone's going to find out I'm a fraud so I need to pocket as much money as I can while I still have a decent reputation as a football coach."  Has he had any success in his career that can't be easily attributed to someone else?  Brady, Belichick, Parcells, Haley, etc.
