ESPN is putting on the full-court press by talking Michigan up in the hopes that voters move them into the top 14 so they are eligible for a BCS at-large.
Both last week and this week, ESPN spent several minutes with all of their talking heads extolling the virtues of Michigan. Today, they even seemed agahst that Michigan might actually not be in the top 14. How is this possible for a program with their pedigree?!?!
At some point, the voters are going to comply and vote Michigan high enough to jump a team they lost to (Mich St) or a team they didn't play but was in the big 10 title game (Wisc). They'll probably also put Michigan above UGA after they lose to LSU in the SEC title game.
It will be interesting to see if Baylor can jump Michigan after they beat Texas on Saturday. That MIGHT be enough to keep Michigan at #15...
