oh god, I could never work at a place that allowed dogs. they're like babies that never grow up.

Dogs are trainable if you are a good owner (and the breed is smart). Babies aren't trainable no matter how good of parent you are.

most dog owners suck.

The baby is no where near my office. Sometimes it sits in on meetings I'm in though. That's real annoying.

my goodness, where do you work?

Yeah, you don't train babies, you comfort them and then they stop crying.

I don't think that works 100% of the time.

You can train yourself to not bring your baby to your work.

there is currently a baby in the office and I want to leave but will not because I do not want to ooh and aah over the baby on the way to the elevator. Maybe belongs in the people thread.

what is yeug?

an unintelligible sound that is kind of like "ugh*"

Also, a woman just walked by and kind of said "goodnight" and someone was like, "um, didn't you see the baby? Do you not like babies???"

Today I would have waited it out until I had to leave for my happy hour. If I would have had to be somewhere sooner I only would have waited long enough to not be late. A normal day? Probably 10-15 minutes.
