Flooding looks pretty nuts,  I've been in chicago when the streets are completely under water downtown but once the rain stopped it cleared out pretty quick.  Assume it's the same in NYC :dunno:

Just saw this as well. I was there just last week and thankfully it only started raining the day we left. This would have been a nightmare with kids.

it depends.  the last time this happened, the majority of deaths were from people who lived in basement apartments.

The shelter in place was because of transportation issues, I imagine. It didn't last long and luckily her subway to get gone was running
