I don't get this post at all. Except for Jordy and Simoneau, who were all-americans and complete badasses, nearly EVERY "fan avorite" that played for Snyder or Martin has been black. Bishop, Newman, Sproles, Lockett, Q, Beasley, Walker, Pullen, etc. etc. etc. Where does this sentiment come from? Show me a fan base that doesn't cheer for a local starter.

It's not a black/white thing. It's a local vs import thing. Sproles and Newman were local kids and were adored. But it's just a "fan favorite" thing.

Fan preference:
1. Local kids who are good.
2. Kids who are good.u
3. Local kids who are not good.
4 Everybody else.

Coach preference (i.e. the kids who play):
1. Kids who are good.
2. Everybody else.
